I normally list a bunch of auctions on Thursdays, and this week was supposed to be no exception. The beads are ready to go, but we were so occupied with our car this morning that I lost my window to take pictures. (I take pictures in natural light, but in the afternoon the light turns blue and the bead colours no longer look 'true".) I should be able to take the pictures tomorrow or Saturday and have the beads up Saturday night. I'll run the auctions for five days, so they'll end at the same time as the ones I relisted today.
Our car did indeed get totaled off by the insurance company. We think we're going to get a P.T. Cruiser because they're so cute and my husband is enamored of them. We've been checking out the used car listing, trying to find a good one. Wish us luck!

Added a few new sets of beads to the beads page. I need to figure out how to make the newest beads appear at the top of the page-but until I figure that out, you'll have to scroll through.
Well, it's definitely summer. I've enjoyed it so far, until our car was caught in a flash flood and it ruined the motor! Hopefully the insurance people will pay for it, (fingers crossed) but we might have to get a new car.

So much for my regular updates, eh? I think my problem is laziness: I often have beads sitting around, waiting for me to add. I just take a long time to get around to it.
Summer's finally arrived here, and all of a sudden my little house that was so cold in the winter is unbearably hot in the summer. I think we're going to have to spend some time this summer working on the insulation.

I just added some new beads to the Beads page.
It's a long weekend here in Canada, but of course I'm still torching away. (Because I'm a total glass addict!) It's finally feeling springy here, though, after the long winter. It wasn't actually that cold this winter (compared to other winters I've had here) but it never seemed to end.

Happy May Day everyone! (We don't actually get a holiday here in Canada, but it's still a nice sentiment, right?)
And a mere two months after I said that I was going to add beads to the site regularly, I finally think I'm ready-there are some new sets up today on the Beads page.

Wow, I am just no good at updating this website. One of my New Year's resolutions was to work harder on my website. (What?? Chinese New Year was yesterday! Give me a break!) To that end, I am going to start a mailing list. Please email me at ericajpo@gmail.com if you'd like to be added. I will of course never share your email address with anyone.
I'm also going to try adding beads to this site more regularly, probably every other week or so. I added a few sets today-please check them out!
